Every layout should have the basic information:The classic info:
Who – who’s in the pic
What - what else is significant in the pics besides or instead of people
Where - place
When - date
How – how did it happen? What were the circumstances surrounding the taking of this picture?
However, journalling doesn’t have to be long … it’s better to be short and meaningful.
Kim asked me for some ideas for journalling about her favourite boy band:
If you have a favourite band, why not try a LO based on the first names of all the band – then add the meanings of the names and why they’re appropriate (or not).
- Write a letter to the band (don’t be too soppy – treat them as real people)
- A thank you layout with things you thank the band for use each thing on a separate line cut out.
- Write an acrostic poem:
W………
E…….
S……..
T……..
L……
I …..
F …..
E…..
E…….
S……..
T……..
L……
I …..
F …..
E…..
- Write an acrostic poem using the first names of all the members in the band.
- Do some journalling incorporating as many titles of their singles, albums and album tracks as you can.
